Monthly Themed Park Days Join us for
our fun and most popular event, monthly park days, and see what we're all
about. There is storytime, arts and crafts, snacks, games, a scavenger
hunt and playtime at the playground. This is a monthly event and is centered
around a different theme each month.Themes in the past have been:pirate and princess; superheroes; teddy bear picnic; valentine tea
party; go fly a kite; bring a tryke; bubbles, balls and balloons; earth day;
etc.The arts, crafts, and games
are always centered around the chosen theme.Snacks and drink are always provided. We try to plan crafts and games for each age group
so both the little ones and older ones have something that fits their skill
level.For some events, the kids
dress in costume.
Playgroup Information We
offer weekly playgroups for different ages ranging
from newborn to school age. Some playgroups have multiple ages with
siblings. Playgroups are usually held at parks, kid-friendly
locations or private homes around the Conejo Valley.It is a fun and easy way to have new
friends for your children to play with!We also offer playdates on the weekend:two Saturdays a month.Usually meeting at a park or a kid-friendly event in the community.During the summer, we also have beach
days where we meet as a group at the beach in Malibu.
Seasonal Parties
CVM hosts three seasonal parties for the family
each year.They include a Spring
Fling in April, End of Summer Party in August and Winter Celebration in
December. These events are for
members only and take place on Saturdays so the whole family can attend.There are a lot of games, crafts and food
for the kids.The kids receive a
bunch of prizes at these events.We usually provide entertainment, like a magician as well.This year we are also planning a
Pumpkin Carving Party in October.
Other
Activities
Every other
month we have a moms night out, where we meet for dinner at a local restaurant,
have a game night or other activity. On the opposite months we have a family
night out.Once a month we meet
for breakfast at a local restaurant.We also take the kids on a monthly “Fieldtrip” to places like, the Santa
Barbara Zoo, Underwood Family Farm, The Skirball Center, etc.

If you think you have what
it takes to be a Super Hero or Super Princess, come dressed in your favorite
super hero or princess outfit. We
are holding a special training session that day, to test your strength,
endurance and super powers. When you finish training you will be awarded a
special medal to prove you are a Super Hero or Super Princess. We'll also be making crowns and masks
in order to conceal our true identities.
Drinks and snacks will be served.
